Looking back, looking forward

Happy New Year!

I’ve been a little hibernatey for a while, and it’s been lovely just being tucked up at home lazing around, enjoying family time and eating myself into a food coma …. and spending a couple of weeks without picking up a needle and thread has given me a chance for a little reflection and to recharge my batteries – although I am mostly the duracell bunny, I had pretty much wound down to an exhausted stop by the end of the year.

I always give myself a hard time for not doing *more* than I do (it might be something to do with the length of my want-to-do project list), but last year I kept track of what I did, and I’m surprised, looking back, at just how much I did get done ….

9 quilts for customers ….

and another couple to please myself 🙂

cushions …..

and even time for a little exploration ….

and although there will always be a few w-i-p’s that carry over ….

I’m looking forward to this coming year, and the new projects it will bring ….

I hope you have a happy and productive 2014 🙂
